Space & Setup
- Each shop measures approximately width 2m width x 2m length x 3m height and requires additional space in front for play.
- Depending on your venue, shops can be spaced apart or positioned side by side.
- It is your responsibility to ensure the venue has sufficient space and ceiling height for setup.
- We recommend positioning the village around the edge of the room, allowing space in the centre for seating or food.
- Parking must be available for the duration of the event, with suitable access to the setup area. Space is required for a high-top, long wheelbase van or Luton van, depending on your chosen setup. Full details will be confirmed upon booking.
- Access should involve no more than 5 steps, or suitable ramp/lift access must be provided.
- We require approximately 1 hour before and 1 hour after your event for setup and pack-down.
- Setup/pack-down time may vary depending on venue access and conditions.
- It is your responsibility to ensure the venue allows sufficient access time.
Booking
- A £100 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking and cover potential breakages.
- The remaining balance is due one month before your event.
- Bookings can be transferred with at least one month’s notice.
- Changes or cancellations within one month are at our discretion.
- Standard party duration is 2 hours, with longer sessions available for an additional fee.
- Bookings are available 7 days a week, subject to availability.
- We also offer bookings for schools, weddings, community events and private hire.
Equipment & Responsibility
- A full inventory of equipment will be provided at the start of your event.
- This will be checked again at the end of the event.
- Any missing, damaged or broken items will be chargeable.
- All equipment is cleaned, checked and maintained to a high standard before each event.
- Equipment must be used as intended and treated with care.
- You are responsible for ensuring guests respect the equipment and setup.
Safety & Supervision
- We are fully insured, DBS checked and paediatric first aid trained.
- Our setup is designed primarily for children aged 3 to 7 years.
- Some equipment contains small parts, therefore:
- Adult supervision is required at all times
- Younger children should be monitored closely
- We are not responsible for injuries resulting from misuse, lack of supervision or unsafe behaviour.
- Any accidents or incidents must be reported to us immediately.
Venue & Environment
- Wonder Village must be set up indoors.
- We reserve the right to adjust or refuse setup if the venue is unsafe or unsuitable.
- We are not responsible for venue-related issues, including access restrictions or delays.
Travel
- We are based in Hertfordshire and cover surrounding areas.
- Locations outside our standard area may incur an additional travel fee.
- Any additional charges will be confirmed at the time of booking.
Delays & Unforeseen Circumstances
- We are not responsible for delays caused by:
- Traffic
- Venue access issues
- Circumstances beyond our control
- In the unlikely event we are unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances, we will:
- Offer an alternative date where possible, or
- Provide a refund of payments made
Extras & Third Parties
- Optional extras may be added to your booking (e.g. glitter tattoos, party bags).
- We are not responsible for services provided by third-party suppliers, including catering or entertainment booked separately. However, any suppliers recommended through our website have been checked for up-to-date insurance and positive customer reviews.
General
- By paying your deposit, you agree to these terms and conditions.
- We reserve the right to update or amend these terms at any time.
- These terms are in place to ensure a safe, smooth and enjoyable experience for all.
