Booking
- Sessions can be booked online, in person or via email, subject to availability.
- Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed.
- Bookings may be transferred to another date with at least 48 hours' notice, subject to availability.
- Cancellations made more than 7 days before the session will receive a full refund.
- Cancellations made within 7 days of the session are non-refundable.
- Private hire, parties, schools and group bookings may be subject to separate booking terms.
- We also offer private hire, birthday parties, school visits, community events and special events.
Arrival & Sessions
- Please arrive no more than 10 minutes before your booked session.
- Sessions start and finish at the advertised times. Late arrivals may result in reduced play time.
- Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times unless otherwise stated.
- To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, we reserve the right to limit numbers within the play village.
Admission & Entry
- Wonder Village reserves the right to refuse admission or remove any visitor whose behaviour is unsafe, abusive, disruptive, or likely to negatively impact the experience of other guests.
- No refund will be provided where a visitor is asked to leave due to a breach of these terms.
Age Guidelines
- Wonder Village is designed primarily for children aged 2 to 8 years.
- Older or younger siblings are welcome but may find some activities more or less suitable.
- Some equipment contains small parts and may not be suitable for very young children.
Safety & Supervision
- We are fully insured, DBS checked and paediatric first aid trained.
- Children remain the responsibility of their parent, guardian or accompanying adult throughout their visit.
- Wonder Village staff supervise the play environment and facilities but do not provide childcare. Adult supervision is required at all times.
- Children must wear socks at all times whilst using the play village. For safety reasons, bare feet are not permitted. We recommend comfortable clothing suitable for active play.
- Running, climbing on structures not designed for climbing, rough play, throwing objects, or any behaviour that may endanger others is not permitted.
- Any accidents, injuries, damaged equipment or safety concerns should be reported to a member of staff immediately.
- We are not responsible for injuries resulting from misuse, lack of supervision or unsafe behaviour.
- If a child becomes separated from their accompanying adult, a member of staff should be notified immediately so appropriate assistance can be provided.
- In the event of an emergency, all visitors must follow staff instructions and any displayed emergency procedures.
Allergies & Medical Information
- Parents and guardians are responsible for informing Wonder Village of any relevant allergies, medical conditions or additional needs that may affect a child's visit.
- While we take reasonable precautions, Wonder Village cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment. Food and drinks brought into the venue by customers may contain allergens including, but not limited to, nuts, dairy, eggs, wheat and soya.
- If food is provided as part of a party, event or special activity, allergen information will be made available where possible.
- Any medication required during a visit remains the responsibility of the parent, guardian or accompanying adult.
- In the event of an accident or medical emergency, staff may administer basic first aid and contact emergency services where necessary.
Health & Illness
- To help protect all visitors, children and adults who are unwell, have experienced sickness or diarrhoea within the previous 48 hours, or have a contagious illness should not attend.
Food & Drink
- Food and drink may only be consumed in designated areas.
- Hot drinks should be kept away from play equipment and children where possible.
- Please inform us of any allergies when booking parties or private events.
- Nut products are not permitted within the play village. We ask all visitors to help us create a safer environment for children with allergies.
Photography
- From time to time, photographs may be taken for promotional purposes.
- Consent will always be requested before any identifiable photographs of children are used.
- Parents and carers are welcome to take photographs of their own children but should avoid including other children where possible.
Personal Belongings
- Personal belongings are brought into the venue at the owner's risk.
- Wonder Village cannot accept responsibility for lost, stolen or damaged items.
Private Hire & Parties
- Private hire and party bookings may include exclusive use of the village and additional services.
- Specific details, timings and payment terms will be confirmed at the time of booking.
Equipment & Play Areas
- All equipment, props and role-play areas remain the property of Wonder Village.
- Equipment must be used safely and respectfully at all times.
- Children should be encouraged to use equipment as intended and treat the village with care.
- Any deliberate damage may result in repair or replacement costs being charged.
- Wonder Village regularly inspects, cleans and maintains all equipment to help provide a safe play environment.
Changes & Closures
- In the unlikely event that we need to cancel a session due to circumstances beyond our control, customers will be offered an alternative date or a full refund.
- We reserve the right to amend opening hours, session times and activities when necessary.
General
- By making a booking, you agree to these terms and conditions.
- We reserve the right to update these terms at any time.
